The Undertaker Vs Mankind Hell In A Cell 98 Mini Documentary

Yesterday, WWE released a 15 minute mini documentary about the historic Hell In A Cell match between The Undertaker and Mankind/Mick Foley (which we talked over in Ep 4.5 of Commentaries).

This match is incredibly legendary, but this doc peels back the layers and shows you just why.
It lays out just what led up to it (including Taker breaking his foot BEFORE the match), what happened during it (specifically Undertaker & Mick’s reactions to the chaos), and the fallout from it.
WWE knows how to make a compelling documentary, but this raises the bar on how in depth it is.

Watch it here and hear interviews with Undertaker, Foley, referee Tim White, and a slew of other people who were involved.
I really hope WWE puts out a DVD set about this match sometime and expands on this or maybe gets some new on camera interviews with the icons involved.
I absolutely loved every second of this and I think some of you will as well.

Lastly, if you have the WWE network, after tonight’s PPV, watch Foley’s 20 Years In Hell special.
It’s the show he has been touring for the last 8 months or so where he gives even more insight and reflections on this insane match.
I was sad to miss it when it was in town, but I’m glad I’ll get to see it now.

Episode 054: F**kwhistle Begins

3a41512858654a66de3883e4712c4429

In this episode, Fitz won’t stop making things up as the fellas are invaded by an ineffective cover band from another dimension on the derpa derpa helpline.

Whiffs abound as the fellas are chasing rats for dinner, update you on some wrasslin’ happenings, talk briefly about Star Wars Resistance, and time travel.

Reading habits are thoroughly discussed after Scooby speculation is confirmed to be for real news in this mega sized episode of fun and fighting.

Was there something else…well, you’ll find out SHORTly, so enjoy!

The State Of Fandom

Not posting this for the clicks or attention, mostly as an easy way to archive it because I feel the message is important…also, Fitz told me too!
This morning, I posted a thread on Twitter about the overall current state of fandom, this is that thread.
Here’s the link to the original thread.

Seeing a lot of folks talking about the problems in the Anthill lately.
It’s a problem I’ve been noticing with all fandoms in recent years.
WWE, Scooby, Star Wars, Pods, all have been riddled with anger and fighting based mostly on differences of opinion and how to express them.
Definitely deeper and broader issues than that in some cases, but that seems to be the most deeply rooted cause.

It truly seems fandom is broken, and it appears that, sadly, many would rather plant their flags and dig their heels in than try and fix those problems.
Others still would rather use the current choppy state of the fandom waters to spin & push agendas under the facade of defending or protecting some & ignoring others going through the same.

It’s sad.
To the point that myself & some I talk to would rather not engage with fellow fans anymore in hopes of trying to fend off the negativity & potentially losing passion for things we have great love for.

The personal attacks against people providing entertainment (free or paid) are disgusting & need to stop.
Most of this shit comes from adults acting worse than children.
A lot of people are preaching that a better example needs to be set for the youth while privately feeding the shit storm.
Take your own advice & quit the back biting, game playing horseshit already, it’s goddamn tiring.

This is a rambling mess, but motherfucker, this world is fuckin’ shitty enough.
This world is brutal, we need escapism.
Stop trying to ruin it for everybody else and for fucksake just like what you like.
