Scooby-Doo And Guess Who? Premieres Next Week!

Just announced through IGN, Scooby-Doo And Guess Who? premieres in exactly 1 week from today, June 27th, on Boomerang!
New episodes will air weekly after that.
They posted the trailer on their YouTube channel, go watch it HERE and let us know what you think of it!

Personally, I am so in.
The New Scooby-Doo Movies is one of my top 3 favorite Scooby shows, and this is basically a revival of that.
So this looks to be EXACTLY what I want from a Scooby-Doo show.
And with guest stars like Wanda Sykes & Weird Al (who were not part of that initial announcement) I’m even more excited!

I’m hoping there’s some presence at San Diego Comic-Con next month to further get the word out about what looks to be an amazing new chapter in this beloved 50 year old franchise!

Scooby-Doo And Guess Who? Set To Debut

Variety reports that the next Scooby-Doo series is set to premiere on Boomerang sometime in 2019!

And, as previously speculated and confirmed by Grey Griffin, it will indeed be a sort of reboot of The New Scooby-Doo Movies with each episode featuring guest stars.

The Variety piece reads: “Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?”: In the series from Warner Bros. Animation, the Mystery Inc. gang faces some of their toughest mysteries yet. To crack the cases, Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo will join forces with some of the biggest names in celebrity and pop culture — including NBA star Chris Paul; recording artists Halsey and Sia; Ricky Gervais, Kenan Thompson, Bill Nye, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Mark Hamill, and Steve Urkel (voiced by Jaleel White, reprising his iconic role), as well as characters like Wonder Woman, Batman, Sherlock Holmes, and The Flash. Chris Bailey (“Kim Possible”) serves as producer with Sam Register (“Teen Titans Go!”) as executive producer.

Personally, I’m super excited for this!
I just hope they pick a good style for the models and animation.
A couple of those guest stars are a bit surpising though (Ricky Gervais? Urkel?), but it does fit into the Scooby Movies/Team-Up vibe, so I’m not worried.
Let us know what you think in the comments!
