The Nerd Blitz Question Of The Week #32

Hey gang, thanks for coming back and checking out what’s happening again.
Let’s get to the question!

This week we want to know:What’s a movie you saw as a kid, thought you imagined, and realized as an adult was actually real?

TNB Commentaries 029: My Cousin Vinny

lfPlease turn off your cellphones and come along as we head way down south, just across the boarder to hunt a sweet, harmless, leaf eatin’, doe eyed little deer.

For our 29th commentary, we head all the way back to 1992 for some legal drama starring Joe Pesci, Marisa Tomei, Ralph Macchio, & the greatly underrated Fred Gwynne.

We talk about the proposed sequel movie and why it DIDN’T happen, the sequel that DID happen, praise some high caliber acting, gush about a childhood love of Britcoms, and fall in love all over again with a classic of 90’s cinema.

Also, in our wrap up, we tease the rescheduled return of the greatest event in the history of man and Podcasting: B-MOVIE MARCH!!!

So don’t miss a minute, gang, as The Nerd Blitz Commentaries prepares to climb to new heights…and sink to depths uncharted?

The Nerd Blitz Question Of The Week #29

Welcome back for our 29th straight week, gang!
This week things are getting spooky and groovy, so let’s dive in.

In honor of Scooby-Doo And The Curse Of The 13th Ghost ending a 33 year cliffhanger, this week we ask:What TV show cliffhanger would you like a DTV movie to finally wrap up?

Scooby-Doo And The Curse Of The 13th Ghost is now available!

From Warner Brothers Home Entertainment, Scooby-Doo And The Curse Of The 13th Ghost is available now on digital & DVD.

After just over 33 years, we now have the final story in the saga of The 13 Ghosts Of Scooby-Doo!
This is a movie I dreamt of for years and never thought it would happen, and you guys have absolutely no clue how excited I am that it does.

This one is a curious case too because WB has released a ton of clips, teasers, and scenes from it.
Which makes me wonder if they’re testing something out.
Maybe to see how wide this goes/how much attention they can get, if they can get more than just the hardcore fans interested, maybe they are wondering about what future movies could/should be, or some combination of the 3.

Either way, I really hope you guys check this movie out, gang.
I’ll definitely be reviewing this in an upcoming episode and I would love to talk with some of you about it.

Episode 071: Yeah

vmssg_quoxw-938474f306b06b65d20f4bd04f79b18e.jpg

In this episode, the boys are talking long cancelled TV shows, a movie franchise that, against all odds, just won’t end, & a dude what caught the dead.

Doom is pissy cause a certain Demon of Death Valley got on the Twitter & Fitz is bewildered that some loser memorized the opening of a TV show.

One bitches, one suffers, pop culture is grilled, projections are made, souls are crushed, and fun is had…hopefully by you, so listen to this merry madness and tell your friends.

Enjoy!

First Look: TNB Commentaries The DCCU Album Art!

For nearly 2 years now (to be honest, it may actually be longer at this point) we have threatened to watch the 1st 2 installments of the recent attempt at a DC Cinematic Universe.
Well, dear listeners, your wait is nearly at an end!

We have finally completed recording on this album and you, our lovely and long suffering listeners, are in for a treat.
With over 6 hours of total content, The Nerd Blitz Commentaries: The DCCU Album is our longest Bandcamp album yet.

Check out our album art above.
The picture is a concept I came up with, but was elevated by @gigiamk30 (who snapped the pic) and good ol @Fitzman73 (who did the editing and photoshopping).

We are currently editing the BVS episode and the intro together, and it shouldn’t take too much longer.
We’re looking to release it on our Bandcamp Page at some point around mid-February to early-March, and we hope you’ll all take the time to check out the intro and consider buying it when it drops.

Let us know what you think of the album art and if you are excited for the album to finally be released!
